Led a parent education webinar for the parents and students at both Marin Academy and the Branson School. During the interview, Jane and I discuss a broad range of topics related to bullying, including how to determine whether your child is being targeted; how to help and support your child to develop thought-out, strategic action against the aggressor; and ways that schools can prevent such harassment. I was particularly interested in our discussion on cyber harassment, and how people’s behavior changes when they are hidden behind a screen and cannot see the pain that they are inflicting in the others person’s eyes.

Researched and recorded firsthand account of US Representative Anthony Brown about his service as a Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves and his deployed to Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. My work is included in the Veterans History Project of the American Folklife Center collection. The mission of this the Project is to preserve and makes accessible the personal accounts of American war veterans to ensure that future generations can listen to the veteran’s own words and comprehend the realities of war.
